Icelander's keep cool and go golfing just miles from the volcano, while airports all over Europe are shut down due to the ashes.

Despite what people think, life in Iceland is still very much like normal, except for the area directly surrounding the volcano Eyjafjallajokull, affecting only two dozen farmsteads directly. While airports all around Europa have been closed, the domestic flights in Iceland are running as usual, as are the flights leaving to North America.

Volcanoes and geotherminal wonders are part of the Icelandic's everyday life. The lava flows safely in the north and as before the volcano poses no safety threat to travellers.

Icelanders have learned to live in harmony with the forces of nature. Iceland is considered the cleanest country in the world according to Forbes, depite the eruption from the volcano and it is among the world leaders in green energy in form of geotherminal and hydro power.

The civil protection and emergency management authorities in Iceland are prepared, alert and effective. The Icelandic infrastructure is prepared for earthquakes, volcanic activity and scientists have been measuring and monitoring the situation for some time.

This year the geo tourism will increase significantly. Iceland is the best place in the world to witness the forces of nature at work! In the spring, and summer, Iceland is magical green and the day light endless...what are you waiting for?? Go and visit!
