#XmasTravelSpirit - the competition that rewards your Christmas Spirit

What is Christmas to you? Share it with us and you can win a wonderful trip to Vienna, so you can visit the Christmas markets, of course!

Christmas is getting closer, and we all celebrate it in our own way: some just can't wait for it to arrive, some are worried about getting all the presents sorted, some just can't stand it, and others love to spend it with their family ... or make the most of the days off and go on a trip away!

Whatever your Christmas spirit is, HostelsClub wants to know! And for this reason, we've launched the #XmasTravelSpirit competition.

Taking part is really easy:

- Post a photo or video on Instagram and Facebook in which we can admire your true Christmas Spirit

- Use the hashtag #XmasTravelSpirit and tag us using @hostelsclub

Any content posted by the 26th of November 2018 will be examined by a panel of judges at HostelsClub who will vote on your creativity as well as the engagement of your posts (number of comments, shares and likes), a winner will be chosen based on this criteria.

The prize? It's going to be amazing! We're putting weekend in Vienna up for grabs between the 21st and the 23rd of December 2018: 2 nights in a double room (for 2 persons) in the excellent Hostel Hütteldorf! It's going to be a unique occasion to soak up the magical Viennese Christmas atmosphere, seeing as all the Christmas markets are being held on those dates!

COMPETITION RULES

1. The contest ends at 11.59 pm on November 26th 2018.

2. To participate you need to post content on Instagram or Facebook (original photos or videos) that have the Christmas spirit as their theme.

3. The hashtag #XmasTravelSpirit and the @HostelsClub tag must be included in the post.

4. In order to get in touch with the winner, participants must follow Hostelsclub profile on Instagram or Facebook.

5. The winners will be announced on the HostelsClub blog and on their Facebook/Instagram profiles on the November 28th 2018. If the winner does not respond within seven days of the announcement, HostelsClub will choose another winner.

6. The winner of the competition will be selected by a jury that will evaluate both the creative value of the post and the amount of social engagement on the post (so the number of likes, shares and comments will be counted).

7. The winner will win a weekend stay for 2 people in Vienna in the Hostel Hütteldorf on 21-23rd of December 2018.

8. The jury is composed of: (i) Danijel Lelekovic, Head of Xmas Office Spirit @ Hostels Club; (ii) Yannik Schulz, The office Reindeer at HostelsClub.com and (iii) Cecilia Holden, Christmas Fanatic in residence @ HostelsClub.

9. The jury has the task of deciding which posts are the best and decree the winners, and their decision is final.

10. Posts may not contain content considered by the jury to be inappropriate, slanderous, sexually explicit, denigrating or otherwise.

11. HostelsClub.com also reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant, at any time during the period of the competition, if they not complying with the regulations hereunder, if the participant has: (i) violated third-party copyright; (ii) does not comply with the present regulations; (iii) failed to obtain the necessary consents as established in this Regulation.

12. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18.

13. By participating in this prize competition, participants agree that HostelsClub.com will be able to show their posts on the HostelsClub.com website and through any other means of communication as well as use their names, photograph and/or biographical information (as appears on their social networks) for advertising purposes.

14. The prize can not be transferred or taken by a third party, nor converted into cash.
