So is called the Old Town of the city and walking there you will understand the reason: there are over 300 bars and clubs in the relatively small area, happy hours stat at 2 pm and the world famous bar “Et Kabüffke“ (Flinger Str. 1) offers Killepitsch liquor. This iquor of unique recipi with combination of 90 fruits, berries, herbs, and spices is served only in local pubs and shops.

Centrally located in the old town and with 380 years of heritage its easily the oldest restaurant in Dusseldorf. This restaurant and beer garden has seen many local celebrities and beer and food are served with humor and the typical Dusseldorf dialect.

Enjoy fresh brewed bear in “the Füchschen”: it is nice traditional restaurant which don't only brews splendid beers but also serves typical Rhenish specialties like “Himmel and Ähd” (potato and applesauce) or Düsseldorfer Senfrahmsuppe (mustard cream soup). And it is the best place to try the famous Altbeer.

This popular German pub is situated in the business district, always busy and one of the only places in the city where you automatically get Kölsch beer instead of Dusseldorf typical Altbeer. Kölsch is traditional beer from Cologne and both argue to have the best beer in the world.
