Brazilian Paradise: Beaches, Samba and Parties!

Many foreigners travel to Brazil and end up limiting their adventures in the marvelous Rio de Janeiro and the southern region of the country without going through the Brazilian paradise. The northeast of Brazil can be considered truly a paradise cause of its beaches with crystal clear waters, fine white sand, sun and warmth the whole year! The average annual temperature is 26°C.

Imagine yourself lying on a beach chair drinking icy cold coconut water, watching the blue seaside just right in front of you and watching beautiful people passing by! Sounds great, right!? So do not waste your time and include Fortaleza and Natal in your unforgettable sightseeing tour when visiting the country of samba, carnival and soccer. These cities are tourist-friendly and have plenty of tourist leisure options. After a long day at the beach, make sure you visit the local craft fairs followed by dancing to the Brazilian rhythm, forró and samba, at the clubs!

Fortaleza (big)

Fortaleza is the capital of the Brazilian state of Ceara and the fifth largest city in Brazil. The main accommodations in the city and also many restaurants and tourist attractions, especially the beach huts and nightclubs, are located along the coast of Fortaleza. The main attractions are: the theme park Beach Park in the metropolitan area (which receives an average of 500,000 visitors every year), Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura, the Avenida Beira Mar with its craft fair, Praia de Iracema where the Ponde dos Ingleses (English Bridge) is located, the famous Pirata Bar, and the Praia do Futuro with its 'tents' on the beach. The city has become increasingly visited by tourists from Portugal, Italy and France.

Beaches in Brazil (big)

Natal is the capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte. Lying about six degrees south of the equator the sun shines on for more than 3,000 hours every year and the days seem to last forever. The average temperature in Natal is about 27 degrees Celsius. The city's main sights are Praia da Ponta Negra and nearby the Praia de Pipa and Jenipabu which are famous because of the mobile dunes, where experienced buggy drivers take tourists for a wild ride. Here the dunes become a roller coaster, where the buggy is the cart. You will have a lot of fun!
