What we want to show you is an unexpected London - still full of things to do and places to see. Discover a less beaten side of the city. Here are 10 quirky things to do in London:

5 O’CLOCK TEA… ON THE GO
The 5 o’clock tea is such an English tradition, but how about sipping it on a traditional double-decker London bus, taking you for a tour around the city.

You can totally do this during the Afternoon Tea Bus Tour.

If you have the feeling to have landed in a totally unrecognizable London, it’s always London, even though it’s a bit further outside of downtown. The Hindu Temple is located on Brentfield Rd, near Neasden metro stop.

It’s majestic, fully white architectural complex, that will touch you and amaze you at first sight.

LONDON BY KAYAK

Why limit the choice to a cruise and not go for a kayak tour on the Thames? Why not enjoy the city on the water? Perhaps maybe not during the colder seasons!

A MAGICAL COURSE

Are you a fan of Harry Potter? Yes, we already know you’ve been to Platform 9 ¾ and pushed the luggage stroller against the wall, but, how does it sound to attend a real magical course? To buy a magic wing and some magic potions? Devonports Magic is the right place for you, you find it at Charing Cross Underground Arcade… still underground; where else could it have been otherwise?

THE PLACE WHERE PETER PAN LANDED

Turn back time as you were a child, there is nothing wrong with this, especially if you are going to experience again one of the fairytales our grandparents used to tell us. We are talking about Peter Pan, whose statue can be seen in the exact same place mentioned in the book, during his first time in London. Do you really want to know where is it? Look for it inside Kensington Gardens.

A LONDON FARM

In London it rains cats and dogs but here you will find also cows and goats! We are talking about the Hackney City Farm, an urban factory nearby Haggerston Park.

THE GREENWICH TUNNEL

Would you like walking inside one of the metro underground tunnels? And what about crossing the Thames? Among the most unusual activities to do in London, you can join one of these organized tours.

What we are actually suggesting you is to cross the Thames - but through the Greenwich Tunnel. Are you brave enough to do this?

CHURCHILL WAR ROOMS

Back inside a basement, but this time to visit a bunker dating back to World War II, with several rooms and tunnels to cross.

DENNIS SEVERS' HOUSE

This is not an ordinary house, the American artist Dennis Severs moved to London in mid-1960s and built this house to recreate the private family life of a typical London family between the 18th and the 19th century.

ISABELLA PLANTATION

We could not but include it among the quirky things to do in London, Isabella Plantation is a garden created in 1831 inside the Richmond Park. From the end of April, until the beginning of May, the azalea blossom gives its best. Typical English plants are growing right beside Chinese and Japanese flora… amazing, isn’t it?
