Peniche and the ocean are inseparable and we decided to join forces!
Come and greet one of the largest traditional fishing cities in Portugal, in the perfect atmosphere for relax and chill, meeting nice people, and making new friends.
Capital of the wave, Peniche is the reference for surfing in Portugal, and a meeting point for the world elite of this sport, every year at the World Surf League.
Aktion Peniche Hostel & Apartments is the place where good vibes meet the Portuguese culture! Sleep well in either dorms or private rooms and enjoy the village's best-known seafood restaurants - located very to close to the hostel.

Room types
Rooms decorated in the Atlantic Ocean, with peaceful and cheerful environments and colors, as well as Surfing, one of the main attractions in the region.
Guests can choose between:
- Twin rooms;
- Bedrooms with 4, 6, 8 or 10 beds(bunk beds)
- Apartments (for at least 3 people), some of them equipped with a private kitchen.
Location and surroundings
The beach is the place to be if you want to get a tan and dive into the pure ocean, but make sure you take one of our boat rides and visit the wild Berlengas. Are you truly sea-sick? Then try a bike rental tour instead, or an afternoon simply drinking beer in a beautiful deck or esplanade.
Services and facilities
Come enjoy our open space common areas and fully equipped kitchen, and release your inner Masterchef. Challenge your friends to a foosball match and a trampoline competition afterwards, and tell the world how much fun you had in Peniche.
