Belleville is home to some of the city’s most original street art, from up-and-coming artists to graffiti legends. Renowned locally for its art galleries and music, it became an international street food hub last summer.

Like the open-air markets in London and Berlin, Le Food Market is an intimate affair and has only 15 vendors, selling everything from Mexican quesadillas, spare ribs, Vietnamese bahn mi and Morroccan dishes. Offering travellers a delicious range of the world’s most famous cuisines, the Belleville market is the perfect place if you to eat cheap in Paris.

The concept of street food vendors offering meals under 10 euros is a novelty in Paris. It’s almost impossible to find any restaurant offering the same value for money. Until recently, Paris had an abundance of farmer’s markets, which are perfect if you want to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, but not so good if you want a cheap budget meal.

Created by James E Henry of Bones restaurant, the Le Food Market was designed to ‘redefine the true meaning of street food’ by creating a global hub that contrasts directly with the traditional Parisian way of eating. By changing the global food landscape in Paris, you now no longer have to book a posh restaurant to eat out.

At Le Food Market, you can now enjoy cheap food (everything costs less than 10 euros) in a stylish and international atmosphere without reserving a table.
