She started to sell this dish on the streets of the Charottenburg district. In a short amount of time, her currywurst diffused throughout the whole city and then in Germany. Actually currywurst is an icon of German popular culture and other cities like Hamburg every once in a while tries to prove that actually Hamburg is the true inventor of currywurst. But you can see all these stories and legends in the museum!
