3. The city itself is not actually so big - the area consists of only about 300 square miles.

5. New York City has the largest Chinese population than any other city outside Asia. And the largest Puerto Rican population than any city in the world!
6. NYC has altogether 722 miles of subway track line.
7. Central Park is one of the largest parks in the world.
8. Madison Square Park used to be a cemetery. Among with Washington Square Park and Union Square Park.
