Termas da Azenha is an ideal location to rest and recover from the stresses of the city. Its localized just far enough in the countryside to be unaffected by the city, but close enough that all the conveniences of modern living are close at hand, the city being only a short drive away. There are also many places of natural or historical beauty you can visit nearby, and many activities for the more adventurous individual, such as kayaking, climbing (Mountain & Sky garden) or surfing.
Our property has 3 holiday homes, 2 apartments and 6 hotel rooms. The holiday homes are 2 bedroom houses with transitional living/dinning/kitchen areas, a terrace and large bathroom. The apartments have 2 bedrooms, and separate kitchen and living rooms. All include satellite TV, microwave, full kitchen equipment and the option of a crib for a baby. The Hotel rooms vary,some being a bedroom and bathroom, others including a living area and kitchen. They do all have satellite TV.
Location and surroundings
The Atlantic coast is at a distance of 17 km., with a broad choice in different beaches. In the nearby area there are many locations of Portuguese and world history: the Roman ruins of Conimbriga, the monastery of Batalha, the University and Library of Coimbra, one of the oldest in Europe, and many others. The area directly surrounding is a long, deep valley covered in rice fields and hilly villages, with picturesque views and rolling hills. An ideal place for walking and relaxing.
The common areas include a parking lot, swimming pool, surrounded with some terraces and open spaces, the "town square" with a pavilion and garden and the former bath house, which includes a gym, ping pong tables and table football, and upstairs a library. Amenities include internet access (at the reception, wi-fi in some of the houses), access to a laundry machine, extra beds or crib if necessary (Max one per house). We offer meals, massages, mosaic workshops on demand, ask at the reception.
