The actual position on the beach is fantastic, with views all the way to the summit of Mount Olympus, however due to this beach location it is about 5km from Litohoro. This means you need to get a taxi, ask the staff for a lift (5 euros) or use the unreliable and slow buses. Other than that the place is fantastic, with good food pretty much cooked to order. Plus what better than going to the top of Olympus and swimming in the sea in the same day!
Fab place to stay in a very small settlement down by the sea. Beautiful setting, great bar, very friendly host. Bit of a trek from the station, taxis are around 10 euros each way.
Just walk out the back door to the beach... And take a taxi to the mountain for an amazing hike. The owner, Perry, exhibits great hospitality and will help with any problem expertly. Great place for kids an families to stay, as well as musicians. The scenery is most amazing and ancient ruins in Dion, very close. I highly recommend Summit Zero!
Péri is very cool and helps a lot. The "Indonesian-like" bar and the burgers are two great memories of my trip. It'snear the ea (20 meters) and near the Mount Olympus.
Very nice, cosy hostel and host, who is extremely helpful and picked me up at the train station in the middle of the night in pouring rain without charge - thank you very much again for your good service! Great nature; location a little remote. Bring some food, esp. when visiting before the tourist season starts, as supermarkets close by are still closed then. There is no shared kitchen to use, but a huge, beautiful common sitting area downstairs (both indoors and outdoors), and the beach just in front of the yard, so definitely worth a visit!
