Best Hostel or place to stay in Havanna! Lovely and helpful staff!!
I stayed three nights at paradise backpackers and when returned to Havanna two nights again. The room and bathroom are very clean, the furniture simple, but good for travallers (private storage to close with your own lock) and a great roof terrace to meet other people. The hostel is run by a small family, which gives you a cosy home for your stay in Havanna. The breakfast is individual and diner is possible. Really nice place to stay, central and very safe.
Really a good option to stay over! Nice owner, good food and very friendly people! I definitely recommend this hostel!
This is a great place, and Rolando, the owner, is a friendly and helpful guy. It's in an interesting part of town, away from the most touristy part, but pretty and lively nonetheless.
The owner of this hostel is what makes it so wonderful. We arrived at 2330hrs and he still took the time to sit down with us and explain the difference between the two currencies and give us a suggested itinerary based on the number of days we were staying, to ensure we saw the most of Havana. We've travelled to 6/7 continents and found the Cuban people to be the nicest we've had the pleasure to meet.
