Room types
Santa Monaca Hostel offers solutions that range from double rooms to dormitories with more than 10 beds.
The rooms are on the upper floors, are equipped with security lockers for values and, except for a few exceptions, have bunk beds, each one with its plug.
Dorms can be mixed or female only and the bathrooms are shared on each floor.
The bed linen is included and towels can be rented on request.
Every room has air conditioning.
Location and surroundings
Hostel Santa Monaca is placed in an ideal location to reach all the main tourist sights of Florence (including the Santa Maria del Fiore Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia Gallery) in a short time simply walking. The area is served by several bus lines that allow you to move freely between the various areas in and around Florence.
In the San Frediano neighborhood you can find supermarkets, eateries, pubs and a lively nightlife scene.
Services and facilities
Santa Monaca Hostel guests can enjoy a fully equipped communal kitchen, a large dining room with about 100 seats, a Conference Room and Auditorium located in the former Church of Santa Monaca. On the upper floors there is also a private terrace.

Very nice hostel, good common area, no wait for showers or bathroom, good location. only small drawback is that it is closed every day from 10-2 and there is a lock out curfew
This is a fantastic place to stay in Florence if you are there to sightsee. It is clean, cheap, and very close to all the main attractions. The kitchen could be better, no fridge, and limited cooking facilities. Don’t expect more than what you pay for, basic price means basic facilities, but if you are out sightseeing all day then what does it matter.
Fantastic hostel, the staff were really helpful and location was good.
the hostel was goog, but the welcome was to cold, and the receptionist answers the questions not in a very nice manner, but it is okay, it is clean and you should remember to take a lock with you for your locker. A good thing is that they have a kitchen
One of the best hostels I have ever been. Situated in the meaddle of "centro storico" of Florence it is really easy to find and practical if you want to turn back late at night. The staff is really nice and the place so clean.
