Our hostel is a thru family hostel / homestay.There is always sombody of the family at home :
Lizzeth or Mark, mom( Rosario), dad( Francisco ), brother Dauglas or his wife, we life all on the same place. You experience of the real life in nica and locals living on our island will be amazing!
If you can do anything different and be in touch with nature and surroundings, travel up the vulvano's to see the monkey's !!
Hostel La Peñita it's a wonderful place, with wonderful people. The family in charge of the hostel offer the guests, four rooms with every possible amenity.

Room types
The rooms are basic : a locker, mirror, AC 110Volt power connection, fan, double bed with linen, towel for shower and a quality lock on the door. The all have there one entrance.
We offer wassing and dreing place , or we can do this for you ( extra paiment )
We offer "plate service" , this means mom will cook for you the best meals on the island !
( BREAKFAST 3 USD - LUNCH 6 USD - DINNER 6 USD )
We also provide WIFI at 1 USD per devise , per 24 hours.
We rent mountenbike's and scooters.
Location and surroundings
Our hostel is located 2,5 kilometers from the town centre of Altagracia, so close to town and far away from the rest. You will be relaxed without the noise of the annoying staff in town and neighborhood.
You are in town in 5 min by bus, or you can rent us a bike and go where you want.
Services and facilities
There is a common area in the front of our house ( bar ), also in the back for more rest and peace.
We are happy to cook meals for you, breakfast, supper and dinner, mom will cook the best meals in town !
in 2017 we will begin with a music event every week in the front porch of the hostel.
