Room types
The hostel itself was bought as just a skeleton of a building, and was built to be environmentally friendly, with solar-powered heating, water harvesting, and recycling.
All of our rooms were named after trees native to Mata Atlantica forrest, and are equipped with large bunkbeds with super-comfortable mattresses, hyper allergenic bedding, first towel included, ceiling fans, and full bathroom in each room with solar-powered hot showers.

Mooca Hostel Atlântica is located in one of the safest neighborhoods of São Paulo- Mooca.
One of the oldest traditional neighborhoods of the São Paulo capital, Mooca is considered an Italian stronghold. The Italian culture remains intact in this neighborhood even after 450 years, and it has fostered a unique and delicious gastronomy in Mooca which can't be missed!
Services and facilities
We have a 60m² patio with tables and chairs- an ideal place to eat, drink and hang out.
Our large common room has video games, x-box, flat screen cable TV, musical instruments for guests to play, kareoke, library for reading and trading, internet area with computers, and lots of comfy sofas! Free Wi-Fi is available.
Every last Saturday of the month we host a Sarau- a brazilian party with drinks and churrasco, where guests can interact with eachother and with São Paulo natives.
