Malcolm and Julie Smith welcome you to their beautiful bed and breakfast (Chambre D'Hotes) We offer 2 double bedrooms, one triple family room with double and single bunk bed and one twin room with shared toilet and shower room plus an additional toilet with wash basin. Our prices do not include breakfast but are very substantial breakfast is offered at an additional cost. There are no self-catering facilities available but we are happy to store some small items in our fridge on

The house boasts fabulous views of the Minervois in an unspoilt area of France with the Mediteranean just 35 minutes away. Discover the local history of the Cathars or just explore the breathtaking scenery, around every corner. Your hosts can organise an unforgettable experience, just let us know how we can help. With Carcassonne airport just 15 miles away or Perpignan & Toulouse within 1 hour.

The gardens surrounding the house are spacious and beautifully kept.
There is an outdoor swimming pool area (regularly cleaned & treated) with sun beds for all those wishing to relax and enjoy the plentiful sunshine.
Satelite TV with English and French channels is available.
Free Wifi is available in our lounge public area and two terraces with beautiful views. Snacks and Evening meals are available on request.

We stayed here in May & it´s the best place we´ve stayed in Europe. We could easily have stayed here a week. There is a beautiful communal lounge room and swimming pool outside and it is very clean. The owner of the place is friendly and generous. However, make sure before you arrive in Carcassone EMAIL THE OWNER DIRECTLY to get directions. We made the mistake of catching the bus and getting lost. The only downside is that it is not in walking distance of Carcassone, however this can be worked around. I would thorougly recommend staying here and would definitely go back again.
