The guest house offers comfortable a/c rooms with private bathroom, flat screen tv, linen & towel. Most of the rooms have recently been renovated after the suggestions left by previous guests.
There are single, double and family rooms.
Location and surroundings
Le Bamboo is well situated in Mahebourg, in front of La Chaux river, in the area nearby there are the National History museum and the unique manioc biscuit factory in the world.
Close to different facilities, such as restaurants, banks and shops, it is at walking distance from the main bus station and the Mahebourg waterfront.

Le Bamboo has two common areas fitted with nice sofas and one of them has a home cinema for family. There are also two fully equipped kitchens, and two lovely terraces. The Guesthouse provides free WiFi access.

Great place to stay overnight as it's only 10 mins from the airport. Rooms are a bit small but OK for a few nights. Owner cannot do enough to please. Ate one meal which was great.
the location is nice as it's close to the airport, and close to the attractions in the south...the toilets however, were very small...not much space to move...mattresses, bed linen need to be improved a fair bit...awesome family that run the place...great fun and very helpful...

The place is a little bit run down, the rooms are small and meals are overcharged. On the other hand the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is very filling (half a baguette and an omelette plus tea or coffee) and all rooms have air con and TV. The location is good as it is a short walk to the bus station and it feels safe. I would stay there again.
Nice accomodation near Mauritius International Airport.Beautiful view from the balcony-Lion Mountain,river etc.Good place to make excursions to Blue Bay,Flaq,Souillac/Rochester Fall/
