About La Paille
We both love to travel, and have had a great time meeting people and interacting with our hosts in the different guesthouses and hostels we've stayed in. We wanted to reproduce this experience in the beautiful mountains in which we grew up. So we have turned our family home into a guesthouse.
Welcome to an ecologically built house, fully self-sufficient energetically, in the middle of the Ecrins mountains.

Room types
We welcome you in five different rooms: two 4-beds dorms, and three private double rooms, two of which can accomodate up to four people.
Location and surroundings
The house is close to all mountain activities you can think of, and at the same time isolated enough to be peaceful, the only neighbours are forests and mountains ! There is ski at the Pelvoux and Puy St Vincent resorts, nordic skiing, hiking, mountain biking, cycling, kayak. We are an hour walk from Ailefroide and its boulders and crags, and really close to a lot of other climbing spots.
Services and facilities
We include a delicious breakfast made with local organic ingredients, and you have access to a fully equipped kitchen to cook your meals. You can also relax in the spacious living room, eat or simply check out the view from the terrace or the balcon.
