Room types
At Katharina House, you can find private and shared rooms.
There are 2 private rooms with shared bathroom, with capacity of 3 or 4 people. Both of them have a double bed and one single or bunk bed.
There are 12 private rooms with private bathroom, all equiped with air-condition.
The ones with two double beds have also TV. The ones with one double and two single or one bunk bed, have wi-fi.
Dormitories have only bunk beds.
We offer linen and towels.
Location and surroundings
We enjoy an excellent location – Rua Tarobá 952- about 200m from the local bus station & only 20m from the bus stop which takes you to the Brazilian & Argentinean sides of the Water Falls every 20min. We're only a few meters from Brazil & JK Avenues with all the banks, ATM's, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. And we're next to many restaurants for many tastes and all budgets, some of them recommended by Lonely Planet.
Services and facilities
The buffet breakfast consists of fresh fruits and natural juice along with bread, butter, ham and cheese as well as marmelade, coffee, tea and chocolate and it is served optionally for guests who wish to book.
There is a game room and common area as well as a bar-restaurant or café where you can refresh with an ice cream and have a snack.
We offer wide tourist info in Foz and the surrounding areas and we organize tours and transfer. Feel free to contact us for any further info!

I can't say anything about this hostel because even though I made my booking, when we arrived, they told us that there is no room, and they transferred us to another hostel, which we initially didn't want to stay in.
Clean and very economic. But pay attention to costs and arrangement of the travels!
