Johnny's Place Antigua, Guest House in Antigua Guatemala

Johnny's had a great group of people, most of whom were there for a few months (mid-to-long term) and were renting large rooms. It has the lay-out of a home, with a large common space and cooking area. There are refrigerators and a stove with oven as well as a dining table. The common area/living room has a comfy sofa and a tv. There was one dorm room with 6 bunk beds; however, towards the end of my stay, they decided to phase out the dorm room. In terms of location, Antigua is pretty small, so it's hard to go wrong. Johnny's is near some "well-known" spots-most of which appear in guide books. One place that gets left out is "La Fondita," which is affordable and run by a Guatemalan. I would definitely return to Johnny's.
