We are architects by profession and have designed Chestnut House as a sustainable Eco-tourism destination. Its a 1933 house thats been revitalised with modern amenities while retaining the historic charm and character. Surrounded by wilderness and silence its a fabulous setting to experience nature.

Tehre are several exciting treks from Jilling to explore the neighbouring hill villages. A half day's (2 hours hr 30 min one way ) comfortable hike from Chestnut House, the trail leads to the picturesque Panayali village. Here cherry cheeked kids watch you curiously and the villagers are more than happy to offer you a local lunch.
