Osaka castle (Osakajokoen) is only four stops away from Momodani station.
If you have JR Pass, you can also use it to travel to other Kansai areas such as Nara, Kyoto, Kobe, Wakayama and Shiga (it's famous for the Lake Biwa, largest lake in Japan). To get to any of the above area, take JR Loop line to Osaka station (Umeda) then change to another JR Line.

The locks could have been better and bathroom facilties could have been more cleaner. The reception working time could have been more longer. Its an okay place to stay, but there are better places to stay in Osaka around the same price.
IM Guesthouse staff were very friendly and helpful. It was awesome to be able to rent bikes from the hostel for the day for at a reasonable cost. The beds were comfortable but there were no pillowcases, and no cover for the comforter. And the sheets were from the previous guest. This bothered me a little, especially considering the price. The only other complaint would be that there were no sinks in the bathrooms or shower rooms to brush your teeth or wash your face; you had to flush to the toilet and use the sink at the back of the toilet. Not ideal but not a huge issue.
Had a eeally great time in Osaka and IM Guesthouse is perfect for backpack travelers like me, even made friends during my stay which is awesome! I will definitely recommend this place and also will come back given a chance :-)
Even its a bit cheaper than the other hotel, payment of the transport and the walking time is way too much for the transport time. The rooms r really noisy, walls r really thin
