About Hotel Du Nord
Hotel du Nord is in a central location and close to restaurants and transport. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and fully renovated with quite a good taste and details caring, and the buffet breakfast has many offerings. The train station is a short walk away, but there is also a tram stop near the hotel.
Excelent little Hotel du Nord is located downtown Aigle in the center of the Chablais region, close to the towns of Villeneuve, Roche, Bex and Monthey. The train station is only 300m from the hotel.

Location and surroundings
The main attractions in the Chablais region are the Castle from Aigle, the vineyards from Aigle and Yvorne and the salt mines of Bex. Montreux Riviera Lavaux region on the Shores of Lake Geneva, with for example the Chillon Castle, is only 15 minutes away from Aigle.
Mountains Stations of the Vaud Alps lile Leysin, Les Diablerets and Villars as well as the Valais and French ski resort Portes du Soleil are all easily and quickly reachable by car or train from Aigle.

The winebar & lounge offers a large choice of wines from the famous Chablais wine region, refreshments and hot drinks as well as small snacks.
6:30 to 10:00 Breakfast buffet in the bar, which is included in the room price.
It is possible to organise aperitives, dining cocktails, meetings, cheese raclette time with friends and other events for up to 50 people in the cellar with the special "wow" effect.

I really enjoyed the beautiful view of Switzerland from my room. As it for the room, it was so cute! Also, very nice breakfast, and gentle and kind staffs. Bravo!
