About Pring Guesthouse
Pring Guesthouse is the only backpackers’ hostel in Hamilton, and we are by far the most economical choice in the area. Not only that, but the building is charming and unique, and we will go out of our way to help you with anything you need. Whether you are coming to Hamilton for business or pleasure, or just passing through, we are warm, welcoming and enthusiastic about all our guests.
Situated in Hamilton’s Beasley Neighbourhood, Pring Guesthouse provides accommodation in 3 private rooms as well as in 1 dormitory. Common spaces include a spacious common room, tv/game room as well as a garden and back yard for pic-nic. Bikes are available free of charge for guests. Free WIFi

Room types
Our hostel has four guest rooms: one dormitory and three private rooms. Our 3 bathrooms are shared and all linens and towels are provided. We have central heating and cooling, plus ceiling fans, extra fans and space heaters if required.
The dorm is a large room on the second floor with 3 beds and a small sitting area. Our largest private room is on the second floor, with a double bed as well as a desk and sitting area. We also have two “student” rooms in the renovated basement, with double beds
Location and surroundings
HGH is located in Hamilton’s Beasley Neighbourhood, and is just a few blocks from the heart of downtown. From our front door, there is a supermarket within one block, a convenience store in half a block, a small department store within three blocks and many, many restaurants, galleries, shops and sights within just a few minutes’ walk. The train and bus hub is no more than 15 minutes by foot and we are within easy walking or cycling distance of the bayfront, hiking trails, museums and more.
Services and facilities
We have a grand common room which sometimes hosts concerts and movies, as well as a large kitchen and a barbecue outside. There is a laundry room, and a TV and games room, as well as board games and books in our common room. There is a free computer in the common room, and also free WiFi throughout the hostel. We have a lovely front garden with seating, as well as a picnic table in the back courtyard. We supply bikes free of charge as well.

Very clean, warm, friendly place. Only minus for having only one bathroom for up to six people.
