The hostel is few minutes walk from Thamel, Kathmandu Durbar Square is just 10 minutes walk, Monkey Temple is just 15 minutes walk and various othe local temples around the hostel.
Golden Buddha Hostel provides dormitories and backpacker accommodation in Kathmandu, only a few minutes walking to Thamel. It is the ideal accommodation. The highlight is the rooftop of the hostel with amazing views of Monkey Temple. Guests can also use the kitchen, and relax in the garden.

Location and surroundings
Take a Taxi from the airport and tell the driver to take you to Chhetrapati which is South-West corner of Thamel. Our hostel is opposite of a school called Whitefield School which is 2 minutes drive from Chhetrapati through a place called Dhalko.
Services and facilities
We have common amenities like a common chilling place next to the kitchen, and we have three terraces which are one is the terrace with garden, second is the terrace with beautiful view of Monkey Temple and third the top most terrace from there as well the view of Monkey Temple.
