Freddy's Hostel offers great accommodation at very low prices in one of the best parts of Tirana, close to the National History Museum. Rooms are clean and confortable, a light breakfast is included. The hostel is WiFi friendly.
The hostel offers comfortable beds (no bunk beds) within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Each of the private rooms includes local satellite TV, air conditioning and en suite bathrooms, as well as excellent WiFi internet throughout the property.
Location and surroundings
Freddy's Hostel is just 250 metres from the National History Museum and 200 metres from the nearest shopping centre. A bus station is 350 metres from the property.
The staff, and especially Freddy, are there to meet your needs and will assist with nearly anything you could ask for. I had my doubts about Albania, and it clearly is different than most of the Balkan countries we visited, but Freddy was just a great host and made us feel really comfortable. Traffic and finding your way around the city can be challenging, but if you follow exactly the instructions on this website, you should have no problem finding Freddy's Hostel. Rooms were clean, hostel in good shape, breakfast basic but good. Only downside was a tiny shower in our room, but not a big deal. I wish there were more hotel owners with Freddy's genuine concern and welcoming personality.
