Domus Civica is the biggest hostel in the heart of Venice: very well located, very convenient and only a 5 minutes walk from the Venice railway station.
You can also enjoy the relax and the entertainment offered by the colorful Campo Santa Margherita and the Zattere, interspersed by typical Venetian bars and pizzerias and full of young people and students.
A perfect place for students, very cheap, central, we visited the whole city from it. There is a very pleasant and cheap coffee next to it for breakfast. The staff is nice, and we can leave our luggages the last day before taking the train (and it is very close from santa lucia station. Reductions for students. A very satisfyed couple.
Very clean. All is clean. The room was clean, the bathroom was very clean. All the things worked in the right way. The shower was good. The position is ok. Near the station and from the hostel you can visit all the city by foot. You will save money. Good staff, very gentle...Godd hostel. Very good.
Clean and close to the railway and the bus stations. Not far from the center. Not really fun either but the staff is friendly. Towels are provided in the rooms.
it is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. well located near the main train station doesn't make you go around town with luggage like many tourist do and one also does not need to take the boat (vaporreto) that has expensive tickets. It is not perfect to partying around but good to enjoy Venezia!
I strongly recommend this place, which is remarkably cheap by Venice standards.
