Two apartments for 4 people and one suite for 2, located in the ancient medina of Chefchaouen, in the “Al-Andalus” area, five minutes from Uta Hammam Square and close to one of the entrances to the medina, Bab El Souk. All the furniture and decoration in the house have been attended to every single detail, trying to offer the best Chaouen traditional products. The beds have the best mattresses, with feather duvets and bed linen 100% cotton.
Location and surroundings
Peace and authenticity is what our clients find in Dar el Moualim. During the nights, only the "muecin" calling for the prayer may interrupt your dreams. You may also enjoy the nature that surround Chaouen, mainly in the National Park of Talassemtane. We have written the only guide about the Park that it exists, but it is written in Spanish. It is titled "Senderismo y naturaleza en el Parque Nacional de Talassemtane".
Chaouen has a sweet light, but a harsh climate, with cold nights and wet buildings during the winter season. We must advice this, though our apartments are prepared to fight against these eventualities (feather duvets, plenty hot water, dehumidifier, heaters and also fire-place in the two bedrooms apartment). During spring season the apartments are fresh and the suite (a bit hotter) is furnished with air-conditioning equipment.
