The City House Hostel Poconos is a small independent hostel in the peaceful town of Weissport. The Carbon County area is among the most beautiful in Pennsylvania for its mix of natural attractions, such as the Lehigh River and the ski slopes of the Pocano Mountains and high quality of life.

Location and surroundings
World class biking, rafting, kayaking, just a few steps off the Delaware and Lehigh trail (also known by the shorter D&L Trail). Located only 4 miles downstream from Jim Thorpe, step off the trail, the river, or the city life for a night or a week.
City House Poconos is the perfect spot to enjoy nature while enjoying hot showers, free coffee, good company, and the creature comforts that we are famous for.

We have a grill available to cook up something fresh or use our free kitchen stocked with all the utensils and cooking gear you’ll need.
We have a 72” TV, game systems, board games, and spots to curl up and read or write emails (maybe even letters!) home about your adventures. There is wifi available throughout our space as well. All free, all the time.
