Emelina is so lovely. She looked after us really well, not only in Havana, but by recommending and organising places for us to stay around Cuba. I would definitely recommend the breakfast. The location is great as it is across the road from the main bus station where Viazul departures go to other cities in Cuba. THIS IS A GREAT CASA TO CHOOSE!
I spent 3 nights at Emilias casa and - what to say? - was fine. The room was clean but you should know that there are 2 of them in one appartment, what means shared bath- and livingroom. We were not allowed to use the kitchen but Emilia is willing to prepare breakfast and dinner (we just tried the breakfast, was ok and cheap (3CUC)). Emelina herself is a very friendly person who likes to get in touch with her guests. Unfortunately, her casa isn´t that close to Habana Vieja, it takes a 45-minutes hike to get there.
Place was clean, cozy and affordable. Emelia was very friendly and more than helpful with our needs. I would stay here again if ever I was in Havana again.
Emelina is really nice and accomodating. There is only a 20 minutes walk to Habana Vieja, that allows you to discover another part of the city.
