Mindo is located only one and half hour from Quito. Ideal to relax, enjoy the surrounding nature, observe varieties of orchids, birds and butterflies, and to do extreme sports such as canopy, tubing three levels (Mindo-style), canyoning, etc.
Mindo has been designated as an IBA (Important Bird Area) and was the first one in South America. Also Mindo has won first place on several occasions for registering more than 400 species of birds in the annual count.

'100%The most beautiful hostel in the countryside we have stayed so far in our 4 month trip in South America. Only 3 min walking from the main road of Mindo but located in a lush, tropical property. Our accommodation was a small, super clean, charming double room with shared bathroom facing the garden of the hostel and the mountains'
