Room types
Our rooms vary from suites to en-suite rooms to double and twin rooms in shared cottages to small and big dorms with bunk beds or we have a great camp site. Most of the rooms have a stunning sea view but should you end up in one of the few which haven't there is plenty of places where you can enjoy it. We provide bedding for all the beds free of charge, however bring your own towel.
Location and surroundings
Situated on the gateway to the Wild Coast of South Africa, Buccaneers Lodge & Backpackers is perfectly placed for a holiday stop on your journey around S.A. We're only a short walk away from Cintsa east across the river. There is a basic shop and a pub/restaurant and the village bistro.
Services and facilities
Self catering is always an option at Buccaneers but we are famous for our delicious meals made fresh every evening; fair on the pocket, big hearty portions and always a vegetarian option available. Also available to all guests is the bar, pool and pool bar, volleyball court & internet cafe, gift shop and any quiet spot you can find to put your feet up and enjoy the view. We do a free activity daily with free wine where you can meet everyone and have a free breakfast on Sundays.
