Big Bear Lake is 2 hours from Los Angeles and is a perfect stop on your way to Las Vegas or Joshua Tree Park. We have clean mountain air and cool Summer temperatures. Ski season is late November - middle April. Mountain biking, lake sports and hiking are perfect Summer Adventures. Locally we have ziplines, segway tours, jet skiing, fishing, and much more.
We have 13 rooms in 2 buildings. All bathrooms are private locking shared bathrooms off the hallways. All rooms have bunk beds. On hostelsclub, if you see a room that says 3 beds, it is actually a bunk bed with a single over a double bed. If you see a room with 5 beds, its actually a room with a double and a single over double bunk bed. Our 6 person private rooms do have 6 beds. The dorms all have bunk beds. Beds are made when you arrive. Superior rooms have TV and fridge in room.
Location and surroundings
Boating and lake sports (kayak, paddleboard, bike rental, ski and snowboard rentals) are right next door to us. We have Breweries and many food types within 1 block. (Sushi, Himalayan, Thai, Mexican, Pizza, Burgers, Ice Cream, Candy). Hiking trails are just up the street.
Each building has a lounge area with lake and mountain views. We have a courtyard with backyard BBQ, campfire pit, and picnic tables. Our larger building has a game room with ping pong and foosball. Each building has a full kitchen where guests can cook their own meals or you can walk to 20 restaurants in 5 minutes.
All children pay as an adult.We are very family friendly. Please included children in the # of adults on your reservation so you are sure to get the right room. Children are NOT included free and cost the same as adults.
