The Hostel offers clean, quiet and affordable beds for backpackers. The capacity of the mean building is over 200 beds, but in order to meet various demands of different guests , the hostel also provides over 160 other types of rooms in the hotel area, including standard twin rooms, standard triple rooms.
Rooms are equipped with central air conditioning, long-distance telephone, cable television, broadband Internet access, small refrigerator and other facilities.
Location and surroundings
Situated in a reserved and protected Hutong area, typical local residency neighborhood with many local restaurants, small stores, post office, Bank of China , supermarkets etc. Just 10 minutes' walk away from the alleyways to Tian'anmen Square, Qianmen Business center, Liulichang (Antique Market) and the Forbidden City.. It is possible to a traditional rickshaw or a self-guided map tour to explore the area.

wonderful situation among beijing's hutong. Wonderful courtyard where to relax drinking really cheap chinese beer! Not so easy to reach by yourself the first time.
The hotel was suprisingly clean and accomodating, and the staff generally helpful and friendly. Our greatest challenge involved finding the place. It's located in the hutong (alley streets) area and most taxi drivers in Beijing have no idea where it is. The directions listed on the website and their confirmation email were not helpful, so be sure to find it on the map and plan your route to the hotel before you get there. The location, otherwise, is great, as it is close to a major shopping thoroughfare for locals, where street food vendors and souvenier shops are numerous.
I recommend this hostel. It has character, and the staff were helpful. My room was a bit musty, but overall I was pleased with my stay.
