Adventurers Backpackers Resort in Townsville is simply the Gateway to Magnetic Island, situated on Palmer St, Townsville most popular street. The hostel offers dorm rooms which are either 4 or 6 shared, and single rooms, doubles, twins and family rooms as well, all with a friendly athmosphere.

Room types
Dorm rooms are either 4 or 6 bed shared, all female dorms are also available on request.
There are also single rooms, doubles, twins and family rooms. Family rooms can sleep up to 4 people with bunk beds, a single bed and also a double bed in the room.
All rooms do have their own fridge available and most do have table and chairs.
Fresh clean white sheets are provided.
Location and surroundings
Adventurers Backpackers is situated on Palmer St which is Townsville's popular street for restaurants of any kind. The Shamrock Pub and the Australian Pub are also located on Palmer st. Just around the corner is Flinders St east which is our nightclub strip. The city center is only 7 min walk from us, where there is a public bus station, internet cafes, grocery stores, cinemas, clothing boutiques, the Aquarium and QLD museum.
Services and facilities
There are shared bathroom facilities on each level, there is also a roof top pool and sun deck overlooking Ross River, a large games and TV room and there is also car parking available. Adventurers Backpackers also features an extra-large kitchen, a BBQ area, you can send email, fax and use internet services and there is also washing machines available.

Room is spacious, however it is not really a hostel neither a resort at all... It seemed that people lived there as a rental house...
