This is the place in Rosario if you like a small family run hostel with a great atmosphere. Stayed there for three nights and I felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Luiz, the owner, and his wife was really helpfull. Being a Scandinavian I could have used an aircondition or a fan and the breakfast was a bit too sweet (two cakes for each person). But all in all a really nice hostel!

My girlfriend and I booked a privat room a few weeks ago - or at least we thought we did. We got a confirmation email saying that we had a room for two nights and we thought now more about that. The day we were going to Rosario I saw an email in my inbox from the hostel saying "... regrettably we do not have available the room you booked through hostelsclub.com. I was updating the availability in other websites when your reservation came in..." Since it was carnecal time almost every hostel had no available rooms but we were lucky to have two beds in Mate Hostel (really good). For obvious reasons I can not comment on the cleanliness, staff, atmosphere etc of Posada Jua Ignacio, but the booking service was really bad.

Habitaciones hediondas, sucias. Cocina asquerosa! Baños? un asco. No hay desayuno. Esta ubicado en un barrio peligroso en cordoba. Recomiendo hostal Babilonia, peros unos pocos pesos mas la estadia cambia 100%

The hostel configuration is not good ,the rooms are connected to a big internal square where the hoster stay until 3 or 4 AM doing a strong noise so it is not ease to sleep.

They don't take online reservations from this site so I had to wait 30 minutes while they set up another room for me at triple the price advertised online. Water on floor, roaches. Toilet in same room as shower.
