The modern foyer in AthenStyle was the creation of international artist, Giorgio Guidi. Guidi drew on common visuals from the Acropolis, adding quirky twists in black and white monochrome, using stencil print motifs, characteristic of his visually entertaining artistic style. In two full wall creations, Carytids possess telescopic zoom, Aphrodite sports a snorkel mask while striking at Satyros with her sandal, and trap doors are seen in places your may or may not actually find them around the Parthenon. In addition, AthenStyle will soon open its Billiards & chill out space in its basement, also decorated by Guidi, to be used as the future home of art exhibitions and other thematic events for patrons as well as the youthful, energetic art denizens of Athens at large.
We are located in Psyri neighborhood, which except from being the heart of “AthenStyle” nightlife is now home to well kept art galleries that have brought the art scene closer to life. Among the narrow streets you will discover a new artistic community that has shaped its studios amidst the food market, small wholesales shops of domestic products, theaters and old little stores.
