From the rooms with balcony, the views of “La Gran Vía” are excellent. The Splendid hostal has been recently renewed, with big and clean rooms, all of them with private bathroom, central heating, individual air conditioning, tv, safebox.
Location and surroundings
From the hostal you can reach in a few minutes the most important museums (El Prado, Thyssen, Reina Sofía) or walking through the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, La Plaza de España, Palacio Real, La catedral de la Almudena.

a little noisy, everything else is good^^
Nice people and good location. It is not for fun at night but yes to have a good sleep
It was a very nice and clean place to stay. The staff was very accommodating and understanding. The location was great but the directions were a bit vague for a person who hasnt been to Madrid before.
The central position is perfect but the staff is a little bit unfriendly, no word in English.
Staff was helpful, rooms were clean and as advertised. Very good location. Friendly staff. I would use this place again.
