The hostel was clean and the staff was very helpful and kind. The kitchen was fully equipped. If you want a drink you can also get one in the hostel in the evening, but we liked to go to the river in the evening. The beds where very basic.

Best hostel, I have ever stayed in!! It's a fairly new hostel in a beautiful old building on Avenida de Liberdade, one of the most important streets in Lisbon. You need 3 minutes walking to the city center and 10 minutes walking to Bairro Alto, the party area. The hostel is run by a really kind and warm-hearted Brazilian family and their friends. There are at least two-three young staff members (in addition to the normal staff) who are only there to entertain you. They organize pub crawls, karaoke, table soccer tournaments and so on. The hostel is very clean and big. The kitchen is really great and fully equipped. The living room is beautiful and offers space to at least 30 persons... there is a big TV, a table soccer, nice couches and so on. Perfect!

Unfortunately the place was overbooked. So we had to change the place... not a big deal, but the way, how it was organised, was very unprofessional. First we came there and it was too loud. Not caused by the guests, but the loudspeakers at the reception desk prevented any normal conversation. Due to our booking problem they decided to turn off the music at least. Afterwards they made some strange excuses: First it was just the website which caused these incidences, then they said the place will be closed anyway, then they said something about the police as well. After all that I just wanted to get my reservation fee back. Not more... so just 20€ or something. That wasn't possible for 3 days. I always had to go there to say: Where is my money?! After the third day, we finally got our money in an envelope with some more excuses. For us, this place didn't work out!

Very nice hostel. Staff is very helpful, facilities are quite good. Everything is perfect, but 2 things should be improved: 1.) If you provide a kitchen for guests, then there should be a oven also. Not just a microwave. 2.) The shower could be cleaner! But the rest... the best!

Thank you very very much for everything! The Hostel is really good and nice to stay in! The staff is helpful and understanding! The location as perfect! There is a net, kitchen and it is clean! What else can you possibly need in a hostel? Map - yes! Table games - yes! Wonderful! A small hotel in the middle of Port! You can walk to every great places from Porot by foot. Also is the hotel in the neighberhood from Porto night life. The room are very small, but to stay for 2,3 days is o.k. In Portugal you have to stay outside...

Waht a pleasant hostel and what a funny nice and sweet staff! Your key is the finger, don´t lose it. The hostel is nice, clean and you can walk to best palces from Lisbon by foot. If i will come back to Lisbon i would stay there again.
