About Gap Year Hostel
We are the first backpacker hostel from Boon Keng mrt (Purple Line), so it takes less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Along the purple line, it is convenient to visit city centre such as Chinatown, Clarke Quay, Little India, Harbourfront etc.
Featuring high ceilings and housed in a two-storey pre-war shophouse, contemporary-style design Gap Year Hostel has a great location in Singapore, just 15-minute walk from the cultural Little India. It offers computers with complimentary WiFi access in its public areas.

Room types
We have a 20 bed single capsule pod rooms and a 4 double bed family capsule room. The rest are family rooms of 4 beds and 6 beds. Shared toilets in 1st floor and 2nd floor. We do have laundry services and provide towel only if upon request. We have free WiFi, free daily breakfast and also hair dryer and ironing equipment. Hostel is fully air conditioned.
Location and surroundings
We are very near to Bendemeer Mall and Bendemeer market where you can find cheap authentic local foods. Experience the Bendemeer neighbourhood like a local. There is coffee shops and mart besides us. There are also plenty of restaurants around us.
