About Moulin2Roues
Moulin2Roues was not build as a hotel, hostel, not even as a home - it was a factory to make flour. There has been a mill on the site since 1450. We have sought to preserve the character of the Mill as much as possible.
Yet whilst it is a commercial property, it enjoys a stunning location on the River Thouet in the beautiful Regional Natural Park Loire-Anjou-Touraine.

Moulin2Roues is a Water Mill on the River Thouet near Saumur and the Loire. It offers accommodation in a seasonal bunk room as well as in private rooms.

Double room with bunk bed over (to add a third person).
- these rooms multi-function shower, WC & basins and a kitchenette.
Twin room features 2 single bed, a table and chairs, microwave and fridge and en-suite shower room.
Location and surroundings
We are on the River Thouet! Fishing and canoeing are popular in the immediate vicinity, you can even take a dip in the pool created by the river!
Wine tasting is very popular with guests (138 vineyards within 10 minutes of here!)
Of course there are the châteaux (Saumur, Brezé, Montreuil-Bellay)
And zoo, markets, museums, troglodytes etc.
We provide bike rental services to make sight-seeing even easier and kayaks to experience the river!

All guests enjoy free parking for cars or bikes and free WIFI.
A continental breakfast is available when booked in advance.
Transfers operate to/from station and the town centre during the summer season, subject to availability.
