There are many bars, markets, bus stops and a train station nearby. It's close to Maracanã and has direct bus to Copacabana.
The neighborhoods Méier, Vila Isabel, Lins de Vasconcelos, Sampaio, Jacaré, Cachambi and Grajaú are close to the hostel. It's part of a region called the Grande Méier. The battle for Olympic medals in 2016 will take place in 32 venues in Rio de Janeiro and one venue is pretty close to Feijó Hostel.
