Hostal Casa del Sol is located on "La Punta" and it's a great backpacker accommodation in Montanita. It provides private rooms as well as dorms and boasts an ocean view yoga studio as well. Guests can join the movie nights and attend Spanish classes at the onsite school.

Room types
Accommodations are rooms with a double, queen bed or king bed or two, 4 bed dorm room. All have private bathrooms, with hot water, wi fi and include a different, delicious breakfast each morning! The rooms share balconies with hammocks, and all face our courtyard.
Location and surroundings
This hostel is located in a quaint little area lovingly named 'La punta' since it is situated in front of Montanita's famous surf break. Here you will find a microbrewery, various restaurants, surf schools, tiendas and an almost empty beach! We are a 5 minute walk north on the beach from Montanita town and the area is super chill and tranquil.
Services and facilities
We have 2 common areas for socializing or relaxing and hammocks on the shared balconies. Pizza night, sushi night and a family style dinner are available once per week, and unlimited coffee,and drinking water are provided all day for only $1 USD. Other activities on site include movie nights in our outdoor theater, Spanish classes, a bamboo yoga studio with 15+ movement classes per week and our in house surf instructor to help you explore the waves!
