El Vedado is a peaceful, quiet area close to downtown Calle 23 and several hotels, the famous Coppelia (the place to taste delicious ice cream) and the University of Havana, where several Spanish language and other courses are offered. Still considered as the City Centre, it has convenient transport connections by bus and taxi to the whole city of Havana.
