All bungalows are made with local materials like makuti, wood and terrazo floors. All the furniture is local. Each bungalow is different in shape, color and furniture. Room types
The resort has 5 different non-smoking bungalows:
3 Deluxe bungalows (62 m2) accomodated with a king-size bed, chairs, table, sofa, cupboard, ceiling fans, many windows and lights, en-suite bathroom, private terrace and gallery. On request 1 single bed for adult or 2 single beds for children can be added.
2 Standard bungalows (22 m2) with a queen-size beds, chairs, table, cupboard, ceiling fan, bathroom, and private gallery.
Location and surroundings
Located in the South East, just on the Indian ocean, we are next to Makunduchi, a fisherman's village. There is only one other hotel in the area, and still only a few tourists. During low tide you can see the woman work on coconut shells and seaweed plantation. The fishermen work on typical local boats called dhow. However lots of excursions and activities are available in the South East of Zanzibar.
To get to Stone Town, you need a driver (70 km), which we can provide easily.
Services and facilities
A swimming-pool (11m/7m/2m), a private beach (2000 m2), a fitness room, huge games like chess, mill, petanque, mini-golf, an outdoor cinema on the beach, a library with books and DVDs in French, German and English are waiting for you. Massage therapy is provided by a professional. Cooking courses, swimming courses can also be taken at the resort. All possible tours are organized by the owner, with a Driver. Bar and restaurant on the site. Bike and snorkeling equipment can be rented on site.
