Centrum Apartments2, Apartment in Budapest

We arrived at the Apartment block at 1 PM, there was no sign at the door to know what the apartament number is. So we called at Centrum Apartments, a lady answered (her english was terrible, my english is not so good either, but this lady couldnt say 2 words in english without saying 4 in hungarian...), I told here who I am, the reservation number and that we arrived and no one is there, she replayed: "Please send me an SMS", so I did, with all the info she needed. After 5 minutes and no replay, I called again, this time no answer. Waited another 2 minutes and called again, by this time the rain started... I called another 4 or 5 times and got no answer. So there we were: 2 people in a foregin town with no place to stay. We called many other hotels, apartments and pensions but all of them(except very expensive ones) were fully booked. But this is how the best stories start :) In the end, we didnt sleep under a bridge but this was God hand, luck karma or fate. We've got a storie to tell our childrens about.

This place should be removed from hostelclubs. We went to the specified location and found no signs of a hotel/hostel whatsoever. Buzzed a couple times to the neighbor's who had no idea what we were talking about. Called the "owner" who barely spoke English and told us to wait a couple minutes,her coworker was supposed to come and open the door for us. Waited for 2 hours, called back several times but the owner refused to pick up, even the next day. Eventually we had to find another place to stay at. Lost in a foreign country.
