very bad
Bcoz of no reception, everything went wrong upon my arrival. Arrive at night, the place look doggy but in the day time, it was not so bad. The bed was nice and the toilet was clean.
Well the bedroom was pretty acceptable, but forget about the bathroom. The shower was dripping everywhere, the toilet is in the shower... total chaos. If you dont have to wash, its better for you. Also, dont go where its written on the site because you have to go to another place before... So read the instructions (Call when you arrive in Venice). Certainly not the best place we stayed, but we survived. Staff is really nice though.
This place was unique. We spent a full week there while exploring every inch of Venice. By the time we left, we were happy to have stayed there because of the awesome location on the island and the five minute walk to the train station. However, we really wanted to ask the owner for 200 euro so that we could fix up the room for him. This place has so much potential, but is not well taken care of with poster board covering small portions of the wall where we assume there are holes in the plaster. The bathroom is shared with one other bedroom, and also needs a lot of attention. The toilet is located in the shower, making the use of it very wet and awkward if somebody has just used the shower. Also, the drain was clogged, which led to a waterfall pouring out of the shower stall and eventually into the main entryway to the rooms. Ultimately, this place would be a paradise if a little bit of work was put into it and the owner would easily be able to charge three times as much. As it is, the room was very cheap and the location was phenomenal. We would stay again and be willing to pay more IF AND ONLY IF the owner would take the small amount of time and money to fix it up.
