A very nice and clean hostel (NOT HOTEL) in a not so nice nor clean area. This might change soon, and there are also very nice shops nearby. Some close streets smelled like real sh*t and few men tried to charge money from me in a street very near the hostel. If you want to see how people are living outside the tourist areas or buy things (especially mobile phones) very cheaply, it is possible in the this area. There was Internet cable connection available in the hostel, but no wireless WLAN connection, and because I had no Ethernet connection in my laptop I could not use the connection. This was solved by trying to find Ethernet-USB adapter from the shops in the local mobile phone area. None was found from stores, but one merchant called me after few hours and brought one directly to the hostel, which was very nice! Bus from Dubai to the near taxi station cost 7 AUD and taxi 20 AUD. When going back using another bus station, taxi was less than 10 AUD and bus to Dubai 15 AUD.
