YHA Ostello di RIVA DEL GARDA

Very nice hostel, but it was bad that you could not be there during daytime and that you had to check out already at nine in the morning.

Max Apartments

The place was extremely clean, awesome bathrooms. It was a very great location. Everything was less than a 15 minute walk. The SMN Station. Duomo, and the Academia is only about 5 minutes walking distance. If you're looking for a "party," this is not a place to stay. The people here are very nice. Ana was very helpful and showed us where the best restaurants, gelato, and supermarkets were at. Apartment was smaller than expected, but it was very homey. All the appliances were up to date (I especially loved the washer for our clothes).

Roma Camping in Town

Camping Village Roma is basically a good place to stay. It's a beautiful and well-organized camping-site, with all the facilities you need, including a supermarket and a restaurant-bar. There's only two big problems: it's quite far from the city center (which means wasting a lot of time on the public transport and the impossibility to stay out past midnight, unless catching a taxi) and quite noisy at night, due to the highway running nearby and the drunken guests coming back to their tents after the club and being very loud despite every forbiddance. On the other hand, this is probably one of the cheapest places to sleep in the whole Rome, so if money are a priority for you, this Camping is definitely the best choice!

Soggiorno Santa Reparata

I can't honestly recommend this establishment. Its strong points are nice clean sheets and lovely rough clean white large towels. The manager is a pleasant, helpful lady. Yet the room was badly maintained (broken fridge, broken bathroom door, bubbling wall paint coming off on luggage and clothes) and window screens would have kept out the (literal) swarms of mosquitoes. They are trying and helpful however, and offer free WiFi (which we could not access).

Beautiful room - nicer than some hotels I've stayed at, much less hostels. New towels each day, soap and shampoo, plus free internet. Easy to find and very close to the train and vaporetto stations.
