Room types
The rooms here at The Safehouse are massively spacious. Each of the bunks are made like cubby holes out of wood and in these cubby holes you will find some of the most comfortable beds in a hostel. We even give you two fluffy pillows for extra comfort. Each one is also decked out with two USB ports that make it easy to charge electronics without needing an adapter.
There are bathrooms found on each floor and they have separate toilet and shower rooms. They are all kept super clean.
Location and surroundings
The Safehouse Hostel is located with the Cardiff Castle and Bute Park right in its backyard, making sightseeing ridiculously easy. The main stretch of road with all of the bars on it is easily a 5 to 10-minute walk and you will find everything that you need shopping wise around this area as well, including supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants.
Services and facilities
We have some different common spaces here at The Safehouse. You will find an area with tables and chairs in the reception, which is where they serve the free breakfast of toast and cereal in the morning. We have a stack of information leaflets about what to do in the area down in the reception hall, too, so you should be able to access any information about Cardiff you need.
On the second floor we have a lounge room kind of set up in a Sherlock Holmes-brown-leather-type theme.
